Investor FAQs
We know that investing is about more than numbers, it’s about shared values, vision, and trust.
At Coastal Cottage Life, we’re committed to transparency, purpose-driven growth, and building something beautiful together. You’ll find answers to common questions from our investor community. If you don’t see what you’re looking for, don’t hesitate to reach out. We’re always happy to chat.
How long do we work together?
We work with our partners on a project by project basis. For remodel/fix and flip deals we aim to complete the entire process as quickly as possible, so we expect these opportunities to last less than 12 months. For rental properties and other creative deals, our timeline will be focused on a more long-term strategy.
How is the investment secured?
Your investment is secured by a physical piece of real estate, which serves as collateral to help protect your capital and minimize risk. We focus on purchasing properties at a discount on the front end which means these investments have equity from day one. We also specialize in purchasing distressed properties that have significant room to manually “add value” over the scope of the project.
How can I get involved?
Getting involved is easy — simply reach out to us directly. Each opportunity is unique, and we’re happy to discuss the details with you one-on-one to find the best fit for your goals.
Are there any minimum investment amounts?
Minimums vary depending on circumstances. Contact us for the current opportunities and specific thresholds.
If I'm interested in selling my property, will you give me a fair price?
Absolutely. We believe in doing business at arm's length and finding a solution that makes sense for all parties involved. If the numbers work for both of us, then let's make a deal.
If I want to buy one of your remodel houses, how will I know it was done right?
All work is conducted in accordance with the Florida Building Code, inspected and approved by the local building department along the way, and completed under the direct supervision of a Licensed and Insured Building Contractor. We always encourage buyers (whether they're buying one of our homes or someone else's) to hire a professional home inspector during their due diligence period.
